To start off the summer, I took a relaxing week and half break with my father in Troncones, Mexico. Located on the Pacific Coast in the state of Gurrero, this secluded surf town is a thirty minute drive from the cities of Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. My dad and I enjoyed the local cuisine and even went to hangout at a local surf contest, the Mexi Log Fest.
We stayed in our house on the beach that my mom spent eight years designing, it is considered her masterpiece. Every morning we would take a long stroll on the coast with our golden retriever Luna who would chase seagulls and bark at horses. We enjoyed yoga every morning at a local hotel on a veranda that overlooked the ocean, it was a great way to start the day.

This was a much needed break after a rigorous academic semester, I spent most of my time lounging and swimming before my trip to Italy with my mom and the start of my internship in Los Angeles.
