Malibu: A Weekend Escape

After the first few weeks of my internship at a social media company in Los Angeles, me and my sister decided we both needed an escape and took a weekend adventure up to Malibu. We stayed in a friends luxury beach house, where we tanned in the sun and went swimming in the ocean. It was just the escape we needed.

Nicholas Canyon Beach

On Sunday we went down to the locals favorite surf spot, Nicholas Canyon Beach. The shore break was intense, making us hesitant to swim. Against the point, the waves were breaking at a height of over six feet. A few daring surfers were out there and we got to enjoy the view of a few successful rides as well as a couple of painful looking wipeouts.
