Chi Town: Bean There Done That

In February, I took a road trip with some of my good friends from my club MUSIC Matters to Chicago, IL. While we made it to some of the most famous stops in Chicago like Cloud Gate and the Loop we also missed others. We didn't make it to TILT - 360 Chicago, the giant slanted glass window at the top of a skyscraper, because the boys were too scared much to my dismay.

So besides the basic tourist stops what did we go to Chicago for?

We were in Chicago for a similar passion that brought our friend group together: music. One of the most up and coming clubs in Chi Town, Prysm Nightclub, had two very prominent DJs preforming that weekend that we wanted to catch: Steve Angello and Afrojack. Steve Angello, one of the three members of the famous dance music group Swedish House Mafia, had a dark yet beautiful set that had us all mesmerized. Afrojack, who has multiple hit billboard songs, had an eccentric and hyped dance set with many drops and sing-alongs.

Overall, this was one of the most fun yet tiring weekends of my college career and I absolutely loved every second of it!
